Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the advanced screening of ‘The Rescue List’ has been canceled. Buckingham Foundation encourages everyone to take part in viewing the broadcast premiere on March 23, 2020 at 10 PM EST on WFYI-TV.
Buckingham Foundation is pleased to be hosting an advance screening of the award winning film The Rescue List, followed by a panel discussion and reception. The film tells the story of Challenging Heights and their efforts to end child slavery in Ghana. As you know, Buckingham Foundation provided support to the organization last year to build The Buckingham House, doubling the rescue facility’s capacity, and we also sponsored a rescue mission, which was responsible for saving 42 children, who are now residing at The Buckingham House.
We look forward to the opportunity to raise awareness of Challenging Heights and their mission, and highlighting the people involved. The event is complimentary and open to the public, and will take place in Indianapolis on Friday, March 20, prior to the film being shown nationwide on PBS on Monday, March 23.
