All IN: The Rescue List: Efforts to End Child Slavery in Ghana, and Indiana's Connection

Child trafficking has been a problem in Ghana, West Africa for more than 50 years. One former slave founded an organization to rescue as many children as he can, and a new documentary called “The Rescue List,” which is making its broadcast debut on PBS, tells the story.

Buckingham Foundation recently made it’s first international grant to Challenging Heights in Ghana. Challenging Heights is working to rescue young children from child trafficking and slavery.

“To have a company like Buckingham ask us, 'What can we do to help?' is music to our ears. During Buckingham’s service day they made over 200 breakfast burritos, filtered over 1000 items of clothing and organized our house top to bottom!”
