On Friday, May 21 the Buckingham Builders gathered with passion and determination. The Indy Women Build team led by Ashley Parker met at 7:30 am for safety instructions and a delicious breakfast prepared by Michele Glaze. A special shout out to Annette Parker for traveling from Tennessee to join in the excitement! Together, the team raised the internal and external walls of April and Neontae’s homes. It was a HOT summer day but everyone was hydrating and remained in great spirits. We also learned the Buckingham Builders are currently the TOP fundraising team raising $15,704 so far. Five members of the team raised over $1,000!

The home dedication will take place in late July. Thank you to Buckingham Foundation for your support and sponsorship, and to all of our lady leaders for showing up. Each one of you helped shape the future of two families and the face of a neighborhood.
